一、CHD是屬於基因的疾病,那麼沒有CHD基因的狗是否就不會有CHD
二、髖關節的部位除了CHD的疾病外,是否還有其他類別的疾病?

李學文醫生：
Yes, the dog won't have CHD problem if he/she isn't carrying CHD genes. Any trauma on the hip joint will induce signs of 2nd DJD(arthritis) even the dog doesn't have CHD problem. The CHD always happen on young large or giant breeds dogs There is a developing hip joint disease called aseptic femoral head necrosis which always happens on young small breed dog at the time of his/her puberty time(6-8 months old).

沒錯，只要沒有CHD基因，就不會有CHD的問題，但就算狗狗沒CHD問題，任何的髖關節腫瘤，都會引發第二型DJD (關節炎)的症狀。CHD都是發生在大型犬或巨型犬身上。有一種叫做股骨頭缺血性壞死(aseptic femoral head necrosis) 的發展性髖關節病變，則會出現在小型犬幼犬身上(6-8個月左右)。
